Will’s Bio
Will Stoller-Lee joined the board in 2017 and serves now as the program chair working with a superb team to plan events that enrich the Colorado Springs community. He is a long-time resident of the area, graduating from Lewis-Palmer High School and Colorado College before completing an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been the campus director for Fuller’s regional campus in Colorado Springs since 1995 when the local program was launched. Will is active in the community and serves on several local boards including the Dale House. He is married to Anne with two adult children, Rachel and Jacob.
He was one of the co-founders of the Windrider Film Forum (along with John and Ed Priddy and Dr. Craig Detweiler). In 2004, the four co-founders visited the Sundance Film Festival and launched the Windrider Forum, a dynamic, immersive educational experience that is offered each year at Sundance. The Forum includes engaging, creative workshops and discussions with filmmakers from the year’s top indie film projects. Now in its 15th year, this annual event has grown to become the largest student group at Sundance with 200+ students, faculty, and staff from over 20 graduate and undergraduate programs. As the executive director of Windrider, Will oversees the course at Sundance, collaborates on community screenings in Colorado Springs and in the Bay Area, and plans to expand to other locations.
Will first met Dr. David and Paulette Greenberg in 2006 when they won the “Dove of Peace Award” by the Center for Christian-Jewish Dialogue. They were organizing an upcoming GCLT event about the tragic genocide in Dafur. A firm believer in the story-telling power of film, Will introduced the Greenbergs to the documentary, The Devil Came on Horseback, the story of a courageous young Marine who alerted the U. S. government and the world to the genocide in Dafur. It became the first of many film events that he has worked on with the GCLT.
